Program Educational Objectives:

  • Competency in the underlying principles of chemical engineering, and demonstrated ability to apply these principles.
  • Proficiency in problem solving, particularly in applying the principles of chemical engineering to solve open-ended problems with contemporary engineering tools.
  • Adequate experience in chemical engineering practice through participation in co-operative education.
  • Opportunities for research and for learning of advanced topics, to encourage post-baccalaureate education in chemical engineering and related fields.
  • Proficiency in technical communication, both oral and written.
  • Opportunities for students to develop skills for the global marketplace.

 Program Outcomes:

  • An ability to apply knowledge of chemistry, physics, mathematics and chemical engineering.
