Alumni

 

More than 1200 alumni passed out from this department and out of which about 70% are in service and 20% are in entrepreneurship.

 

The Global Alumni Convention was held twice, once in 1998 and second during December 2001. Distinguished alumni from India and abroad participated in this convention and interacted with the faculty and students. Alumni Student Welfare Fund is instituted to support the financially weaker section of the students. Under this scheme about 16 students per year are being paid their complete food expenses. In addition alumni interact in delivering guest lectures, sponsoring projects and consultancy assignments to the department.
