Program Educational Objectives:
- Competency in the underlying principles of chemical engineering, and demonstrated ability
to apply these principles.
- Proficiency in problem solving, particularly in applying the principles of chemical engineering
to solve open-ended problems with contemporary engineering tools.
- Adequate experience in chemical engineering practice through participation in co-operative
education.
- Opportunities for research and for learning of advanced topics, to encourage post-baccalaureate
education in chemical engineering and related fields.
- Proficiency
in technical communication, both oral and written.
- Opportunities for students to develop skills for
the global marketplace.
